May we never lose our reverence and admiration for our GOD. I pray that as He continues to reveal Himself and His glory through Jesus, we would not rush but instead would take a moment to truly worship our GOD and make way for His presence in our lives. For He is making all things new and makes a way for us in the wilderness.

John 4:24 “God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

Your hearts soar with joyful gratitude when you think of how God made you worthy to receive the glorious inheritance freely given to us by living in the light. He has rescued us completely from the tyrannical rule of darkness and has translated us into the Kingdom realm of His Beloved Son. For in the Son all our sins are canceled, and we have the release of redemption through His very blood.

Hebrews 12:28-29 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be
thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a
consuming fire.”

Psalms 37:3-6
3 Trust in the Lord and do good;
dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
4 Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
5 Commit your way to the Lord;
trust in him and he will do this:
6 He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn,
your vindication like the noonday sun.

Scripture tells us that God is an all-consuming fire. The Passion Translation puts it like this in
Hebrews 12:28-29, “Since we are receiving our rights to an unshakeable kingdom we should be
extremely thankful and offer God the purest worship that delights His heart as we lay down our
lives in absolute surrender, filled with awe. For our God is a holy, devouring fire!”

The word “pure” in the Cambridge English Dictionary means “not mixed with anything else.” Our
purest worship is absolute surrender of everything that hinders love. As we surrender, it stirs our
passion for Him. Surrender might seem difficult, but the more we encounter His fiery love, the
more we WANT to surrender because we discover that He far exceeds anything or anyone else.

Even in a country after an insurrection, GOD shows himself in a mighty
way to overcome the ills of evil. Offering GOD our purest worship is our
absolute surrender to HIM. Our God is a consuming fire.
